Principal's Award

The Principal's Award is presented in more than 100 Maine public and private high schools. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals' Association (MPA), is given in recognition of a high school senior's academic achievement and citizenship.

Ella Hines, of Dixfield, has been selected to receive the 2024 Principal's Award for Dirigo High School. Ella is the daughter of Lisa Hutchinson and Nathan Hines.

good student

Throughout her years at Dirigo High School, Ella has distinguished herself in the classroom, in band, on the yearbook committee, and on the speech and debate team. Ella serves as a member of the National Honor Society. Ella has opted to take advanced classes and early college classes at DHS. Ella very much deserves this recognition. Her GPA is 97.7 crowning her our 2024 valedictorian. Mrs. Doyen, Principal of Dirigo High School, is proud to acknowledge Ella Hines as the 2024 Dirigo High School Principal’s Award recipient.
