SRO Justin Onofrio Teaching Students: To bring awareness and education to young people regarding safe driving and operating under the influence. Golf carts + teen drivers + purposely putting very expensive .15 - .2 intox goggles into their hands sounded like a perfect idea. With a mini lesson and a nice walk through the course, the drivers were off!

Personal Finance Class at DHS

Mrs. Pealatere's Personal Finance classes went "car shopping." Thanks to generous staff, they checked out 4 used vehicles and used a checklist the students had learned about in class including the penny tire tread test. They then had to use Kelly Blue Book to price the vehicle and, in a later class, had to pick one car and attempt to negotiate a better price.
