Preparing for a fun unit in Reading by Amy Gammon
I just wanted to show you how my class was kicking off unit eight treasure Island. I came in this weekend and built a treasure chest for them and a big old pirate ship in my classroom. Plus we’re going to have different kinds of pirate snacks all day long like walk the planks, and fish and chips, and many more. I also got pirate hats and patches for the kids so they will be dressing up as pirates today to start the unit. I just wanted to share with you so you could see how fun this curriculum can be.
